Kaitlyn and Rich’s wedding celebration in Newport, Rhode Island was more than just one day. It was a full weekend of coastal elegance, thoughtful details, and unforgettable memories. A Rehearsal Dinner on the Water
The weekend began at Rosecliff Mansion, where Kaitlyn stunned in her rehearsal dinner dress with a chic scarf, while Rich looked polished and ready for the night ahead. After a quick photo session at the mansion, the couple joined 46 of their closest family and friends at Bowen’s Wharf, where a private Sight Sailing Newport sailboat awaited.
On board, guests enjoyed charcuterie, champagne, and conversation while sailing from 4:15 to 5:30. The rain cleared just in time, giving everyone a picture-perfect evening on Narragansett Bay before heading to a cozy dinner at Stonacre Brasserie where cocktails and fresh local flavors set the tone for the celebration.
Wedding Morning at Bel Mer
The next morning, Kaitlyn and her bridesmaids got ready at Belle Mer on Goat Island. The energy was relaxed but filled with excitement as hair, makeup, and champagne set the tone. Meanwhile, the ceremony space outside was being transformed with lush pink and white florals that perfectly matched the coastal setting.
A First Look by the Ocean
Before guests arrived, Kaitlyn and Rich shared a first look on the waterfront with the ocean and their ceremony arch as the backdrop. Golden Hour Cocktail Hour
Following the vows, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the lawn from 6:00 to 7:00. The timing could not have been better, with golden hour light casting a glow over the celebration. Guests mingled, sipped cocktails, and savored hors d’oeuvres while the newlyweds soaked in every moment.
Dinner, Dancing, and Espresso Martinis
The reception began with the couple’s first dance, sung live by the groom’s sister, followed by heartfelt speeches and dinner service. Kaitlyn and her father shared a touching dance, as did Rich and his mother, before the dance floor officially opened.
Later in the evening, Kaitlyn changed into her sparkly short dress. She and Rich re entered the reception with an espresso martini tower toast that signaled the start of full party mode.
