A Nantucket Engagement Shoot in Sconset, Nantucket
Sarah and Patrick’s engagement session felt like it was straight out of a Nancy Meyers movie. With timeless Nantucket style, coastal backdrops, and a sunset sail to end the day, it was the perfect island engagement shoot.
Classic Nantucket Style
Working alongside Chelsea Victoria Photography, I captured behind the scenes content as Sarah and Patrick brought a quintessential Nantucket look to their session. Sarah wore blue and white seersucker Oxford paired with overalls and a Ralph Lauren American flag sweater, while Patrick looked sharp in a white sweater top. Their outfits set the tone for a shoot that was both timeless and coastal.
Starting in Sconset
We began in the village of Sconset, taking photos and content by Codfish Park. From there we walked the iconic Sconset Bluff Walk, where the hydrangeas, seaside cottages, and sweeping ocean views created a backdrop that was pure Nantucket.
Beach Dunes and Ice Cream
After exploring Sconset, we headed to the beach dunes for a relaxed session by the water. The couple’s energy made it easy to capture candid, fun moments. To finish, Sarah and Patrick shared ice cream at the Sconset Market, making the shoot feel even more personal and joyful.
Sunset Sail in Nantucket Harbor
The evening ended aboard a Sunset Sailing Co. boat in Nantucket Harbor. Dressed in all white, Sarah and Patrick looked effortlessly chic as the sailboat cut across the harbor at sunset. It was the perfect ending to a day filled with coastal charm and romance.
Behind the Scenes with Vogel Creative
