From Fair Street to Galley Beach: An Intimate Nantucket Evening
The Start to the Wedding Weekend | Taylor & Andrew
Taylor and Andrew began their wedding weekend in the most heartfelt way, with an intimate evening shared with their closest family. Parents, siblings, and spouses all gathered to set the tone for a weekend filled with love, celebration, and coastal beauty.
Portraits in Town
We met at Ships Inn on Nantucket, where we captured a few portraits along charming Fair Street before the evening unfolded.
A Vintage Defender Ride
From there, wedding planner Devin Tracy arranged a vintage Defender ride to whisk the family away to Galley Beach - the perfect backdrop for golden-hour photos. Alongside Jessica Jenkins Photography, I captured the family as they walked along the sand, soaking in the sunset before heading indoors for dinner.
A Tablescape to Remember
Inside, Devin and her team created magic. The tablescape was a true work of art with customized menus, seating cards, lush florals, greenery, and layered textures that transformed the space. Sage’s Studio, All My Friends, and Fee Things collaborated seamlessly, ensuring every detail felt thoughtful and elevated.
Dinner at Sunset
Taylor and Andrew’s families gathered for a cozy, candlelit dinner. With the ocean as their backdrop and the kind of late-summer weather Nantucket is known for, the evening felt like the perfect balance of relaxed and refined.
The Perfect Start
This beautiful welcome dinner set the tone for the celebrations to come - a weekend filled with love, connection, and unforgettable coastal moments.
Working with Vogel Creative
As the content creator, my role was to capture the in-between moments that might otherwise be missed - the laughter on Fair Street, the ride to Galley Beach, the way family members leaned in close around the table. While Jess Jenkins Photography focused on timeless portraits, I documented the candid details on video so Taylor and Andrew could relive the full atmosphere of the evening.
